Wilma Ann (Whitesides) Scoggins

Wilma Ann Whitesides Scoggins, 81, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at her home.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 29th, 2023 from 6-8 PM at Bratton Funeral Home, 1455 Filbert Hwy, York, SC. The memorial service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday December 30, 2023 at Enon Baptist Church, 150 Enon Church Rd., Smyrna, SC.

Born in York County, SC, Wilma was a daughter of the late Elma Boyce Whitesides and Nettie Ann Jackson Whitesides. She was a faithful member of Enon Baptist Church and she retired as a sales associate with the Kings Mountain National Military Park.

She is survived by her daughter Angel S. Harris, granddaughters Lindsey S. Parham (Justin), and Sydney Ziner (Phillip) her great- grandchildren, Elizabeth Parham and John David Ziner. Also, her brothers Bill Whitesides (Brenda), and Carl Whitesides (Minnie).

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Crawford Scoggins.
