William Kenneth (Bott) Baker
It is with profound sadness that the family of William Kenneth (Bott) Baker announce his sudden passing on Thursday, January 8, 2026.
On October 6, 2012 Ken married the love of his life Donna gaining two children, Dennis and Elizabeth whom he loved as his own.
Ken was born October 18, 1960 in York, SC to the late William Carter Baker, Jr and Helen McGinnis Yarborough. After the sudden passing of Helen, Ken was loved and nourished by the late AV Watts, Senora Watts, and Ola Brantley.
Ken graduated York School District and later attended Limestone College. Ken’s love for the trombone and basketball began at an early age. He was an avid Boston Celtics and Duke Blue Devils Fan. Ken was known for his sense of humor and always wanting to make you laugh.
Ken is survived by his precious family, wife Donna, bonus son Dennis Walls, grandchildren Christy Totherow and Britney Sexton, great grandchildren Ollie, Hunter and Delilah, brother Ricky Yarbourgh, sister-in-law Darlene Kimsey, niece Angel Brantley-Comer, nephew John Brantley and extended family.
Ken is preceded in death by: Elizabeth Bolin (bonus daughter), Luke (precious fur baby), Teresa Baker (half-sister) and Randy & Gail Brantley who now welcome him with open arms.
Friends and Family are invited to honor Ken at a gravesite service at 1:00 PM on Tuesday January 20, 2026 at Rose Hill Cemetery, York SC with special words by Anthony Jeffcoat.
