Wayne Moss

Mr. Arnold Wayne Moss, age 85, of Clover, South Carolina, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Wayne was born on March 13, 1940, in York County, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Brady F. Moss and Marie Estelle McAbee Moss. He dedicated many years of his life to his career as a truck driver and proudly served his country in the United States Army. While he valued his work and service, Wayne’s greatest joy in life was his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who always put his loved ones first. He also found simple pleasure and peace in spending time outdoors, especially while cutting his grass.

Wayne is survived by his devoted wife of 67 years, Doris Dixon Moss; his daughter, Rhonda Strickland (Tony); his sons, Tim Moss (Ainslee) and Todd Moss (Tammie); his grandchildren, Michael Strickland (Sabrina), Michelle Heidenreich (Bryan), Lucas Moss (Charity), Renee Wright (Lee), Bryan Moss, and Torrie Sokolovic (Justin); and his great-grandchildren, McKinley, Gavin, Brady, Faith, Henry, Lucy, Hendrix, and Maddox. He is also survived by his sister, Alice Foy.

In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his sisters, Shirley Jackson, Joyce Ervin, Merle Connelly, Lena Waldon along with his brother; Larry Moss.
