Wanda Ann (Rosche) James

Wanda “Ann” Rosche James, 46, of Cape Carteret, N.C., passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Rose Hill Cemetery with Pastor John Richard Little officiating.

Ann was born on October 31, 1975 in Houston, TX and raised in Rock Hill, South Carolina where she attended Rock Hill High School.

Ann and her husband, Stacy James, are the owners of Stacy’s Bistro in Rock Hill. She is a member of the Elks Club and was a supervisor for Summer Winds Construction, helping to restore the units that the hurricane destroyed. Ann moved to Emerald Isle, North Carolina where she lived for 5 years and then moved across the bridge to Cape Carteret, North Carolina for the past 3 years. She had family in North and South Carolina.

Ann was known for her kind heart and generosity. She never met a stranger. She will be missed by many who loved her, as she loved them. Her goal in life was to always help someone in need. To bring them food or raise money for them to help anyone who needed it.

W. Ann Rosche James leaves behind her beloved son, Matthew Brandon Dunning, of Cape Careret, NC. Her forever partner, Sean Socie and his two daughters, Leta-Ann and Mckenzie, granddaughter Sayla-Rae of Cape Carteret, NC. Also, her father Edwin Rosche, mother Wanda Rosche Parker, her sister Mary “Lisa” Rosche Ogle, her confidant and very dearly loved, Travis Nichols, who was a second father to her. All of Rock Hill, SC. Also, Stacy James ex-partner/husband for many years whom she loved greatly. They had a special bond between them.

Everyone is welcome to come and visit with the family at the Christian Jubilee Center, 2105 Old York Rd. York, SC 29745, following the graveside service.
