Wanda (Gardner) Case

Wanda Gardner Case, 76, of York, SC passed away on Thursday, August 30th, 2023, at her home.

Visitation for the Case family will be on Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM located at Bratton Funeral Home, 1455 Filbert Highway, York, SC 29745 with the Memorial Service immediately following the visitation at 2:00 PM with Rev. Zoltan Thornsburg officiating.

She was born on December 20, 1946, in Rockingham, NC. Her mother is Louise Kanipe Renfro and her father was the late Walter Thomas Renfro, Sr.

Wanda was a dedicated and devoted wife and mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She loved with all her heart.

Wanda is survived by her mother, Louise Renfro; children, Tracy Case Nix (Kenneth), and Joseph “Joe” Kevin Case (Birgit); her siblings, Windi Hanigan (John) and Tommy Renfro (Helen); her grandchildren, Natalie Shaw, Rebecca Erwin (Travis), Tonya McClure, Jessica Kruppa (Hermann), Whitley McGeary, Megan Case, and Jesse Case (Emma); her great grandchildren, JJ Humphries, Simon Kruppa, Eli Kruppa, Ansley McGeary, Ruby Torrez, and Joey Parker “JP” Torrez, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, Wanda was preceded in death by husband of 57 years, James “Jim” Francis Case, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Community Care at PO Box 993 Rock Hill, SC 29731.
