Thomas Jerome Swartz

Mr. Thomas Jerome Swartz, age 82, of York, SC passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, May 25, 2026.

Tom was born on September 29, 1943 in the small town of Uniondale of the Long Island in New York. He was the son of the late John Paul Swartz and Jennie Mary Starin Swartz. He worked for the Union Teamster as a truck driver and was a proud veteran of the US ARMY. He was a faithful and devoted member of Divine Savior Catholic Church in York, SC.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Lillie Lowery Swartz, his brothers, Albert Swartz (Barbara Ann) and Richard “Richie” Swartz (Jenny); numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
