Teresa Maria (Dessing) Turnage

Mrs. Teresa “Terri” Maria Dassing Turnage, age 64, of York, SC, passed away on Saturday July 11, 2026, at her home.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 20, 2026 from 12:30 to 1:00 at Union Baptist Church; 1945 Ratchford Rd. York, SC 29745 with a Celebration of Life to follow at 1:00, officiated by Pastor Tony Klinedinst.

Terri was born on January 10, 1962, in York, SC, to the late Robert Orlando Dassing and Edna Bolin Dassing.

She is survived by her children, Kimberly Williams and Austin Herring, her granddaughter, Brooklyn Crisp and her great-granddaughter Bailey Chambers. She is also survived by her sister Susan Hall (Roy).

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her sister Janice “Denny” Jones.
