Teresa (Parris) Thompson

 Ms. Teresa Parris Thompson, age 54, of York, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Teresa was born on September 3, 1971, in Rock Hill, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Fred R. Parris, II and Frances Funderburk Parris. Teresa cherished time spent with her family, especially during trips to the beach, where she found peace relaxing in the sand and listening to the ocean.

She is survived by her sons, Tony Parker and Travis Collins; her sisters, Melissa White (Steve) and Amanda McNeal (John); her loving companion, Anthony Fields; and numerous nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

In addition to her parents, Teresa was preceded in death by her brother, Fred “Runt” Parris, III.
