Susan (Fox) Nichols

Susan Fox Nichols, age 79, of York, SC passed away on Tuesday, October 17th, 2023, at her home.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, October 20, 2023, at Tirzah Presbyterian Church located at 180 Tirzah Road, York, SC with Rev. Carrie Blanchard officiating. The family will receive friends after the service.

Susan was born on May 29, 1944, in Asheville, NC to the late Richard Fox, Sr. and Elouise Edwards Fox.  She is a retired Administration Assistant for York School District and a member of Tirzah Presbyterian Church in York.

Susan is survived by husband of 59 years, Olin H. Nichols; her children, Teresa Merritt, and Mark Nichols (Crystal); her grandchildren, Emily and Ross Merritt, and Nolin and Lyla Nichols; her siblings, Barbara Smith (Austin), Richard Fox, Jr. (Barbara) and Jerry Fox (Robin).

In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her siblings, Louella Leighton (Bobby), Evelyn Hall (Bill), and James Fox.
