Susan Harriss (Gallant) Brown

 Susan Harriss Gallant Brown, 63, of Clover, SC passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at Atrium Health in Pineville, NC.

A memorial service for Susan will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 3:00 PM at Midway Baptist Church 12984 State Hwy 55 W, York, SC 29745 with Rev. Mark Dellinger officiating.  Inurnment will follow the memorial service at Woodside Cemetery, 260 Guinn Street, Clover, SC 29710.

Susan was born on April 7, 1959, in Charlotte, NC. She was the daughter of the late Charles William Gallant, Jr. and Ellen Denny Gallant. She was in Human Resources at Carowinds.  Susan attended Midway Baptist Church in York, SC.

Susan is survived by her husband, James Walter Brown, her children:  Charlotte Brown Clark (Alex), James Michael Brown, Justin William Brown (Jess), her brother Charles William Gallant, III (Linda) as well as her grandchildren Austin Clark, Gabe Clark, and Griffin Bryce Clark, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Susan was proceeded in death by her sisters, Carol Gallant and Ellen Gallant, and her grandson James Avery “Rex” Clark.
