Sharyn (Neal) Zelenak

Sharyn Neal Zelenak, 62, of Hickory Grove, SC passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022.

A graveside service will be held at 12 Noon on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Hickory Grove, SC with the Reverend Beth Drennen officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM on Wednesday June 1, 2022 at the Mount Vernon United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.

Sharyn was born on October 3, 1959 in Gaffney, SC. She was the daughter of the late Jack Edward Neal and Frances Easler Neal. She retired after 35 years as a teacher with the Chester and York County School districts. She served as a park ranger for the Kings Mountain National Military Park service for the past 11 years.  Sharyn was a member of Mt. Vernon UMC.

Sharyn is survived by her husband Jim, son, Gregory (Brooke), grandson, Gunnar, and her sister Jaci Totherow.
