Rondall Lynn Lane

Rondall Lynn Lane, age 64, of Hickory Grove, SC passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023.

The visitation will be held from 6:00 -7:00 PM at Bratton Funeral Home located at 1455 Filbert Highway, York, SC on Monday, November 6, 2023, with the service immediately following at Bratton Funeral Home with Pastor Elwood Seemster officiating.

Rondall was born on March 21, 1959, in Welch, WV to Virgil Rondall Lane and the late Shelby Jean McBrayer Lane.  He was a graduate of Princeton High School, Class of 1977. He worked for New South Plumbing and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Clover, SC. He loved to hunt and fish and took the greatest pleasure in life from spending time with his children and grandchildren.  Most importantly, he loved God and knew Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior.  We take comfort knowing he is walking on streets of gold!

Left to treasure his memory are his wife, Valerie Jean Bouchard Lane; his father, Virgil Rondall Lane; his children, Whitney Rachelle Carpenter (Jeff Carpenter), Alex Megan Smyre (Donnie Dellinger); his step sons, Lee Cooper, Nick Cooper and Matt Cooper; the mother of his children, Karen Mann Lane; his grandchildren, Zoe Carpenter, Cole Carpenter, Killian Smyre, and Lucian Smyre; his sisters, Rena Bane, Regina O’Dell, and Shasta Renner, as well as his dear friend and brother in love, Jimmy Hamblin.
