Ronald Bruce Sparks

 Mr. Ronald “Ron” Bruce Sparks, 78, of Rock Hill, SC, passed away at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House on Wednesday, February 20, 2025.

A memorial service will be held at Bratton Funeral Home’s Chapel on Saturday March 8, 2025 beginning at 1:00 PM officiated by Pastor Randy Thomas. Inurnment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens, in York, SC.

Ron was born on December 18th, 1946 in Pittsfield, Ill to the late Rosalie Marie Sparks.

He is survived by his son, Jeff W. Sparks (Janice) and his step daughter, Jeannie Lynn. Also, his grandchildren Haley Fisher (Eric), Justin Sparks, and Jason Sparks, his step grandchildren, Hayden Perlov, and Savannah Perlov. Along with his great-grandchildren Teagan Fisher, Payton Fisher and his half-sisters; Lois Gowe (Bill) and Diane Edwards. In addition, he is survived by his cousins Mike and Katrina along with his aunt Rita.

In addition to his mother, Ron was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Cathey Sparks and his brother Carol Stone.
