Roland Morneault

Mr. Roland Morneault, age 86, of York, SC, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025, at Piedmont Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Bratton Funeral Home, 1455 Filbert Hwy, York, SC 29745. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.

Roland was born on August 19, 1939, in Eagle Lake, Maine. He was the son of the late Wilfred Morneault and Olive Laffere Morneault. Roland owned and operated his own convenience shop and spent countless hours working as a mechanic. In his free time, he enjoyed feeding his deer, deep sea fishing, and, most of all, spending time with his beloved family.

He is survived by his children: Jo-Ann Langston, Rita Pait (David), Danny Morneault (Dawn), Talmage Morneault, Destinee Morneault, Cheyanne Morneault, and Isaac Morneault (Heather); and by his brother, Maurice Morneault. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Christina Tanner, Jaime Baxley, Ami Blake, Raichel Pait, Jason Pait, Hailey McMullan, Taylor DeFreitas, Gable Morneault, Daelan Burden, and Delayna Burden; along with numerous great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Roland was preceded in death by his daughters, Rhonda Hart and Vicky Nelson; his great-grandson; and his siblings, Gilbert Morneault, Kathlyn Morneault, Lew Morneault, Al Morneault, and Roger Morneault.
