Rodney Thel Price

Rodney “Rod” Thel Price, 75, of York, SC passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Sharon, SC with the Chaplain Sheldon Green officiating. The family will receive friends in the church cemetery following the service.

Rodney was born on October 18, 1946 in Smithville, NC. He was the son of the late Thel Price and Elsie Lee Price. Rodney loved spending his time outside. He enjoyed planting flowers and working in the garden. He had a passion for birds, watching the hummingbirds and blue birds was his favorite.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Diane Brown Price, children: Robbie Price, Kelly Preston, Scott Price, Martie Dunbar, Patricia Rainer, Timothy Green, William Green and Angie Quinn; brother, Donald Price, sister, Rosemary P. Davis, thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
