Rocky was born on June 29, 1960 in Rock Hill, SC. He was the son of Frances Humphries Moss and the late Mason Leon Moss. A gifted handyman, Rocky had a natural ability to fix just about anything. To know him was a true blessing. He had a quick wit and loved making his friends and family laugh.
Above all, Rocky’s greatest treasure was his family. He loved them dearly and he loved them fiercely. He also cherished his work family at Comer Equipment and was often described as one of those rare people who “never worked a day in his life” because he truly loved what he did.
Rocky is survived by his devoted wife, Teressa Moss; his loving daughter, Brandi Moss Price (Brett); and his grandsons, Cooper Bradley Price and Chandler Blake Price, who gifted him his most cherished title, “PawPaw.” He is also survived by his sisters, Jan M. Hall (Joel) and Carol M. Messer (David); and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, Rocky was preceded in death by his son, Bradley Moss.
In memory of Rocky, memorials may be made to the Hickory Grove Fire Department, PO Box 11, Hickory Grove, SC 29717.
