Robert Eugene Stacy

Mr. Robert Eugene “Gene” Stacy, 76, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill.

 The family will receive friends on Monday April 1, 2024 at Bratton Funeral Home from 1-2 pm. The funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Bratton Funeral Home with Rev. Nick Setzer officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York.

 Gene was a son of the late Louis O. Stacy, Sr. and Ruby Paxton Stacy. He was a veteran of the U S Navy and graduated from the University of South Carolina with a masters degree in mechanical engineering. He retired from Gaston Memorial Hospital as a lab technician.

Gene is survived by his sisters, Linda Stacy Koon (Wayne), and Jane Stacy Spratt (John), brother, Herb Stacy (Paula), and nieces and nephews, Neel Stacy, Nancy Copeland, Susan Spratt, Sarah Spratt, Catherine Spratt, Stacy Koon, and Jonathan Koon.

In addition to his parents Gene was preceded in death by his brother Louis O. Stacy, Jr.
