Rickey Marvin Huffstetler

Mr. Rickey Marvin Huffstetler, age 62, of McConnells, SC passed away on Friday, September 27th, 2024 at Novant Health in Charlotte, NC.

The family will receive friends from 10-11am on Thursday, October 3rd, 2024 at Sanctuary Hills Church of God of Prophecy, 1289 Lincoln Rd. York, SC. The funeral service will begin at 11am with Pastor Earl Young officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York, SC.

Rickey was born on March 15th, 1962 in York County. He was the son of Mattie Cope Huffstetler and the late Welsey “W.B.” Huffstetler. He worked at Metrolina Greenhouses as an assistant grower and was a member of Sanctuary Hills Church of God of Prophecy.

In addition to his mother, Rickey is survived by his wife, Glenda Ledford Huffstetler; his children: Rickel Huffstetler, Ricky Ramsey (Natasha), Brandon Jordan (April), Corday Huffstetler, Daniel Hubbard and Heather Parker (Kevin) his step children, Kacie Childers (Justin), and Brad Ledford; fifteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Wayne Huffstetler, and his sisters, Elaine Mathis, Brenda Childers, and Linda Trobaugh (Dan). In addition to his fathers, Rickey was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Huffstetler.
