Rebecca (Oates) Wiley

Rebecca Oates Wiley, age 85, of Prosperity, SC passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024 at White Oak Manor in York, SC.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Bratton Funeral Home, 1455 Filbert Hwy. York, SC 29745. The funeral will begin at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Brad Vassey officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens of York.

Rebecca was born on June 30, 1939 in Kings Mountain, NC and grew up in York, SC. She was the daughter of the late Robert E. Oates and Isabelle Wilson Oates and the widow of the late Leonard A. Wiley.

Rebecca is survived by her children Dale Johnson, Bobby Wiley (Mary Ann), Judy Schultz (Tim), and Michael Conard (Linda). And her grandchildren Jessica Wilkins (Jason), Michelle Williams (Steven), Tavis Johnson (Brandi), and Morgan Schultz (Duke) and also 14 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Susan Johnson, her brother Denver Oates (Bobbi), and her sister-in-law Debbi Trotter Oates.

In addition to her parents and husband, Rebecca was also preceded in death by her siblings Robert F. “Bob” Oates, and Judy Oates Morgan.
