Rebecca (Burris) Howell

Rebecca Burris Howell, 89, of Sharon, SC, passed away on March 1, 2025 at White Oak Manor, York, SC .

The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM on Thursday, March 6th, 2025 at Olivet Presbyterian Church, 159 Church St. McConnells, SC 29726, with the service following the visitation.  Reverend Chip McArthur will be officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Rebecca was born on May 10, 1935 in Sharon, SC.  She was the daughter of the late John Pratt Burris and Belle Hall Burris, and was the widow of Robert Leonard Howell. She retired from First National Bank of Sharon and was a member of Olivet Presbyterian Church.

Rebecca is survived by her nieces and nephews, Cynthia Phillips (Paul), Linda Arnold, Rick Sadler (Sherry), and John Sadler. Also surviving are her great nieces and nephews, Brooke Sadler, and Will Sadler (Alyssa).

In addition to her husband and parents, Rebecca was preceded in death by her siblings, John Walker Burris, Mary Burris Sadler and Emma Burris Shillinglaw.
