Mr. Ralph Lee Brown, age 82, of York, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, December 22, 2025, at Bratton Funeral Home, 1455 Filbert Highway, York, SC 29745. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Rose Hill Cemetery in York, South Carolina. Military Honors will be rendered in appreciation of Mr. Brown’s faithful service to his country.
Ralph was born on May 1, 1943, in York, South Carolina. He was the son of the late William L. Brown and Carrie Martin Szymborski. A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Ralph also dedicated many years of his life to education, retiring as a schoolteacher after teaching French at local schools.
He is survived by his brother, Jim Brown (Cheryl); his sister, Joyce Carver; and his grandson, Matthew Durden (Jann).
