Paul Reid Lefler

Mr. Paul Reid “Monk” Lefler, age 76, of York, SC passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, November 28, 2025.

Services will be announced at a later date.

Reid was born on December 31, 1948 in Charlotte, NC. He was the son of the late Paul Oscar Lefler and Lila Reid Howell Lefler. He served in Vietnam, was a proud US ARMY veteran and was a member of Cornerstone Methodist Church in Rock Hill, SC.

He is survived by his wife Ping Zhao, his children Jason Lefler (Paula Allison), Scott Lefler (Sue) and Joey Carter (Karen). He is also survived by a grandson Hunter Lefler and his siblings Ann Mauney (Ken), Kitty McCoy (Mickey) and Wayne Lefler.
