Patricia (Brown) Ramsey

Patricia Brown Ramsey, 81, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025, at Wellmore on Daniel Island in Charleston, South Carolina.

A graveside service will be held at Adnah Methodist Church Cemetery, located at 1 Adnah Drive, Rock Hill, SC, on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 11:00 am with The Rev. Dr. Dave Hall officiating.

Born in York, S C, on February 3, 1944, Patricia was the daughter of the late Robert Jackson Brown and Lynn Latham Brown, and the beloved widow of George Sanders “Sandy” Ramsey, Sr. She was retired from York Comprehensive High School as an assistant librarian and she was a member of Filbert Presbyterian Church.

Patricia is survived by her children; George Sanders Ramsey, Jr. (Kara), Mike Ramsey, and Brooke Wilson. Her grandchildren; George Sanders Ramsey III, Henry Walker Ramsey, and Willow Jean Ramsey. She is also survived by her sister, Susan Dominick (Furman).

In addition to her parents and husband, Patricia was preceded in death by her siblings: John Brown, Ruth Acuff, and Janet Smith.
