Norman E. Dunn, Sr.

Mr. Norman E. Dunn, Sr.  age 85, of York SC, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Lakeview Memory Gardens, 1774 Filbert Highway, York, SC 29745. The family will receive fiends at the graveside after the service.

Norman was born on July 4, 1941 in Gastonia, NC. He was the son of the late Henry Gilbert Dunn and Evelyn Plyler Dunn. He was a mechanic and truck driver for Observer transportation and a member of McConnells First Baptist Church.

Norman is survived by his wife, Rachael Snider Dunn; his son, Norman E. Dunn, Jr. (Sandy), his grandchildren; Waylon Dunn, Carly Jean Dunn, Crissy Jo Atkinson, Sarah Drake.  He is also survived by his brother, Roger Dunn (Patricia).

In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy E. Dunn; his children, Nancy Jean Dunn, Phillip Anthony Dunn, and his 6 siblings.
