Norma Pierce Obituary

Norma Lee Pierce, 78, of York, SC passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021 peacefully at her home.

Norma was born on November 5, 1942 in North Tonawanda, NY. She was the daughter of the late Norman R. Pierce and Sarah E. Amich Vogt. She grew up in Ohio where she graduated from Pymatuning Valley High School before moving to Crawfordville, Florida to call home for over 40 years. While living in Crawfordville she was a member of River of Life Church and worked as an accountant for the Tallahassee Democrat.

Norma is survived by her daughter, Diana Burns (Brad), sons, Robert Lane (Renee), Charles Lane (Amy), sister, Cheryl Blose, brother, Thomas Vogt (Jackie), eleven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her son, Paul Lane, Jr., sisters, Pamela Reed, Carolyn McGhee, and brother, William Vogt.

A service will be held at Ivan Assembly of God church in Crawfordville, FL to celebrate the life of Norma L. Pierce.
