Nita (Douglas) Chambers

Anita “Nita” Kay Douglas Chambers, 56, of Clover, SC, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025, at CaroMont Health in Gastonia, NC.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 3852 Woodlawn St.,

Sharon, SC 29742.

Nita was born on May 15, 1968, in Forsythe County, NC, to the late Larry Eugene Douglas Sr. and Joyce Holston Douglas. She was the devoted wife of the late Stacey Keith Chambers. Nita had a deep love for skating and

fishing and found great joy in cooking for her family. However, her most cherished moments were those spent with her grandchildren.

She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Daniel Chambers, Chris

Chambers, Jason Chambers, and Justin Cox; her adored grandchildren, Jake Sims, Jayden Chambers, Landon Chambers, Peyton Chambers, Charleigh Chambers, Noah Chambers and Bailey Chambers; and her siblings, Angela Kannon (Isaac), Larry Douglas, Scotty Douglas (Candy), and Rebecca Goldson. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Midge Chambers; her brother-in-law, Brian Chambers (Donna); and sister-in-law, Mandy

Chambers.

In addition to her husband and parents, Nita was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Charles “CJ” Goldson, and her father-in-law, Herby

Chambers.
