Mindy (Nealeigh) Kuhn

Mrs. Melinda “Mindy” Nealeigh A. Kuhn, age 65, of York, SC passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, August 4th, 2023.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 am on Saturday, August 19th, 2023 at Bratton Funeral Home, 1455 Filbert Hwy York, SC. The funeral service will begin in the funeral home chapel at 11 am with Dr. David Oyler officiating. The burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery in Rock Hill, SC. Following the burial, the family invites friends to the home for a meal and to share stories about Mindy’s life.

Mindy was born on January 18th, 1958 in Columbus, OH. She was the daughter of the late Dr. Thomas R. Nealeigh and Marylin Fambrough Nealeigh. She graduated from Westminster College with a Bachelor of Mathematics Degree and then went on for two Master Degrees in Business. She retired from Nationwide Insurance after 24 years in Columbus, Ohio. Mindy had a strong love and care for all wildlife and animals. She was a devoted volunteer at the Ohio Wildlife Center. She also had a lifelong love with horses and owned many; along with classic cars and trucks, but her number one object in life was family and taking care of others. She played guitar, enjoying all types of music, and loved her Ohio State Buckeyes. Go Bucks! O-H!

Mindy is survived by her husband, Charles “Chuck” A. Kuhn, daughter, Katy Harris and her husband Michael; grandchildren, Taylor and Lyla Harris; and her sister, Becky Oyler (David).
