Mike Jordan

Mr. Michael “Mike” Lane Jordan, age 58, of Sharon, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026.

A graveside service celebrating Mike’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Hillcrest Baptist Church Cemetery, 2020 Hillcrest Road, York, SC 29745. The service will be officiated by Pastor Brad Vassey and Pastor Byron Scherer. The family will receive friends at the cemetery immediately following the service.

Mike was born on April 19, 1967, in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. He was the son of Joyce Sanders Crump and the late Floyd William Jordan, Jr. He worked as an operator in printing and finishing and was a dedicated volunteer with the Disaster Relief Program and Constructors for Christ, both through Hillcrest Baptist Church.

Mike found great joy in being on the water fishing and cherished trips to the mountains, especially when shared with those he loved.

He is survived by his beloved mother, Joyce Sanders Crump; his brother, Stephen Lee Jordan; his stepbrothers, Robert Crump, Jr. and Buddy Crump; his uncle, Tommy Sanders (Rhonda); his aunt, Brenda Palmer (Briggs); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his father, Mike was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lisa Lattimore Jordan; and his grandparents, Riley and Ruth Sanders, and Hugh and Burdell Kennedy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church “Celebrate Recovery,” 2020 Hillcrest Road, York, SC 29745.
