Mike Breakfield

Michael “Mike” Breakfield, age 61, of York, SC passed away on Saturday, February 17th, 2024.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 am on Friday, February 23rd, 2024 at Bratton Funeral Home, 1455 Filbert Hwy York, SC. The funeral service will begin at 11 am in the funeral home chapel with Dr. John Cabe officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Grove Church of God Cemetery.

Mike was born on September 1st, 1962 in Flint, MI. He was the son of the late Joe Breakfield and Vergie Robbins Breakfield and was the widower of Judy Kay Crawford Breakfield. Mike worked mostly as a truck driver and was an avid Michigan Wolverines fan, GO BLUE!

Mike is survived by his daughters, Nicole Gonzalez (Jose), Sharon Brakefield; his grandchildren: Justin Brakefield, Kobe Brakefield, Maria Gonzalez, Emma Brakefield, Erik Brakefield, Jr., Christian Gonzalez, Joseph Gonzalez, and Amelia Gonzalez; and his great granddaughter, Paisley-Kay Brakefield. He is also survived by his sisters, Joanne Huskey, Marie Breakfield, and Barbara Dunkee. In addition to his wife and parents, Mike was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Erik Brakefield.
