Michael McGrail

Michael “Mike” McGrail, 58, of York, SC passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Bratton Funeral Home, 1455 Filbert Hwy York, SC 29745. The funeral will be at 9:30 AM on Friday, April 8, 2022 at Divine Savior Catholic Church, 232 Herndon Ave. York, SC 29745. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York, SC.

Mike was born on April 22, 1963 in Burlington, VT. He was the son of the late Roger Giroux and Janice Provost McGrail. Mike was gifted with a special heart. He had a passion for helping people and you could always count on him for his jokes or tricks. He enjoyed going to short track races and spending time with his wife, Stacey. Mike was employed by Manchester Boston Regional Airport before moving to South Carolina and working for Charlotte Mecklenburg School System in the Maintenance Department.

Mike is survived by his wife, Stacey Boldosser McGrail, daughter, Katie McGrail and her daughter, Gianna Zachistal; step-son, Matt Lawrence, sister, Lori McGrail, brother, Merril McGrail, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his son, John Michael McGrail, brother, Richard McGrail, and sister, Brenda Foster.
