Michael Edward Agard

Mr. Michael Edward Agard, age 80, of Rock Hill, SC, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at his home.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Bratton Funeral Home, 1455 Filbert Hwy, York, SC 29745. A memorial service celebrating Michael’s life will follow at 5:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.

Michael was born on May 6, 1946, in Quincy, Il. He was the son of the late James Edward Agard and Carol Jean Whitefield Agard. Michael was a  faithful follower of God. He was the owner/operator of Agard Curb and Gutter concrete construction company.

Michael is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Judie Lynn Gooding Agard; his children, Tammy Agard Wilcox (David), Michele Agard Wilson (Bill), Cary Agard Howington (Todd), Jason Michael Agard (Melissa), and James Michael Agard (Holly); his grandchildren, Lance Prunty, Erica Wallace, Kayla Burris, Aaron Joye, Tyler Joye, Michael Greene, and Westin Greene; and his great-grandchildren, Cord Prunty, Cathrine Prunty, Paislea Wallace, Everlea Wallace, Easton Wallace, and Liam Joye.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his siblings James “Jim” Richard Agard and Sue Carol Agard Foxbower.
