Mary Jane (Lancaster) Jones

Mary Jane Lancaster Jones, 72, of Clover, SC passed away Friday, September 3, 2021 at Caro-Mont Regional of Gastonia.

Born May 15, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Marvin and Bryte Lancaster of Fallston, NC.  She held several management roles in Charlotte but was best known for her beautiful sewing talents.  As the owner of Fancy Thimble, she prided herself in the beautiful alterations of wedding dresses, prom dresses and much more throughout her community. 

Survivors include husband James “Jim“ Jones of the home.  Step daughters Ali Taylor and husband Giles of Jones Island, Kelly Jones and Melody Mullery of Rock Hill.  Grandson, Hugh Giles Taylor V. Two brother-laws, David Jones of Clover, Jerry Jones and wife Millie of Holden Beach, NC and sister-in-law Marti Paschal and husband Phil of Matthews, NC.  Three nieces, Amanda Beam and husband Mark, Lisa Bridges and husband Kevin, all of Fallston, NC, Pam Ross and husband Clark of Candler, NC.  Great nieces and nephews, Seth McCurry of Candler, Evan Ross and wife MacKenzie and little girl Sloane of Greensboro, NC, Jessica Clewis and husband Zac of Shelby, NC, Anna Howard and Bishop of Belmont, NC, Joshua Beam and wife Katlyn of Fallston, Daniel Ross and Jen of Silvia and Elizabeth Bridges of Fallston.

Service will be graveside only at Lakeview Memory Gardens, York, SC Wednesday, September 8th at 11:00am.
