Mary Catherine (Miskelly) Yost

Mrs. Mary Catherine "Cathy" Miskelly Yost, age 64, of Hickory Grove, SC, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026.

A memorial service celebrating Cathy’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Philadelphia United Methodist Church; 2260 Chester Hwy. York, SC.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery, and the family will receive friends in the church cemetery following the burial.

Cathy was born on March 10, 1962 in Rock Hill, SC. She was the daughter of the late James Thomas Miskelly and Betty Mitchell Miskelly. A faithful and devoted member of Philadelphia United Methodist Church, Cathy actively served in the church choir and cherished her church family.

She is survived by her sons, Jay Yost and Benjamin Mitchell Yost; her grandson, Jethro Yost; her siblings, Sandra Robbins (Blaine) and Buck Miskelly (Mary); and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by her faithful companion, William “Bill” Edward McKeown.
