Mary Jane (Riddile) Gardner

Mary Jane Riddile Gardner, 93, passed away on January 5th, at her home.

A celebration of life will be hosted by Gaston Christian Church, 5339 S. New Hope Rd. Belmont, NC 28012 at 11 AM on Saturday, January 18, 2025 with Scott Patterson officiating. The family will receive friends before the service from 10 until 10:45 AM at the church.

Born February 9th, 1931, Mary Jane was a daughter of the late Floyd and Anna Fotovich Riddile and the widow of Dale C. Gardner. She was a homemaker and was a member of Gaston Christian Church.

Mary Jane is survived by her children, Carolyn West, Julie Clouse, Ralph Gardner, Mayme Long (Keith). Also 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren, along with 4 siblings.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary Jane was preceded in death by daughter Joyce Gardner McDonald, sons-in-law Don West, Gary Clouse, and Steve McDonald. In addition to two siblings.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mary Jane’s name to Gaston Christian Church, 5339 S New Hope Road, Belmont, NC 28012 or to Hospice and Community Care, 2275 India Hook Rd. Rock Hill, SC 29732.
