Mary Frances Cain
Obituary
Mary Frances Cain, died at her home in York on September 2, 2022.
Born August 29, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Lytle Cain and Fannie Bonnie Youngblood Cain. She was a member of the York High School class of 1949 and also a member of Temple Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Louise Cain Ramsey, and Alice Cain Hope, and her brothers William Eugene Cain, Bobby Joe Cain, and Charles Lytle Cain.
She is survived her siblings, James Hazel “Jimmie” Cain, Ferrie Cain Green, Roy Thomas Cain and John “Buddy” Cain; her sisters-in-law, Mary Alice Cain and Mary Jane Cain, and her best friend, Margie Barnett Childers. She was a dearly beloved aunt to her ten nieces and nephews, their children and grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Lakeview Memory Gardens, 1774 Filbert Highway, York, SC at 10:00 AM with the Rev. W. Gregory Marshall officiating.
The family sincerely thanks Sandy Cox for her loving care and dedication during Fran’s illness.
