Marian (Woodling) Knight

Marian Woodling Knight, age 88, of York, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at TerraBella Senior Living of Rock Hill, SC.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Bratton Funeral Home, 1455 Filbert Hwy., York, SC. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Chaplain Mike Tyler officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in York, SC.

Marian was born on March 22, 1937, in Snyder County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late Charles Woodling and Marie Haines Woodling, and was the loving widow of Bennie Knight.

Marian is survived by her daughters, Melinda Applegate and Yvonne Wright (Robert); her grandchildren, Chad Kuykendall (Michelle), Sean Kuykendall, McKenzie Applegate, Logan Applegate, and Robbie Wright; and two great-grandchildren.

Marian was preceded in death by her siblings: Paul Woodling, Stoey Woodling, John Woodling, Ruth Foushee, and Eva Keister, and her grandson, Joshua Wright
