Mae'lani Grace Mitchell

Baby Mae’lani Grace Mitchell passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Atrium Health Hospital in Pineville, North Carolina.

Though her time on earth was far too brief, Mae’lani Grace was deeply loved and will forever remain in the hearts of her family. She brought immeasurable love and hope to those who eagerly awaited her arrival, and her memory will be cherished always.

She is survived by her loving parents, Molique Deondrick Mitchell and Olivia Grace McSwain; her big sister, Aubrey Mitchell; her maternal grandparents, Laure and Jerry McSwain; her maternal grandmother, Ashley Jones; her paternal grandmother, Shadel Viator; her paternal grandfather, Ronald Mitchell, Jr.; and numerous other family members who will forever hold her close in their hearts.
