Mabel Burnell (Carroll) Hall

Mrs. Mabel Burnell Carroll Hall, age 91, of York, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at her home.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Monday, June 29, 2026, at Hillcrest Baptist Church; 2020 Hillcrest Rd., York, S.C. with a funeral service to follow at 2:30 p.m. officiated by Rev. Brad Vassey. Burial to follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York, SC.

Born on July 30, 1934, in York County, South Carolina, Burnell was the daughter of the late Walter B. Carroll, Sr and Mabel Stewart Carroll and the wife of Joe Erwin Hall. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend whose love and kindness will be remembered by all who knew her.

Burnell is survived by her loving daughters, Debora Lynn Wilkie (Jimmy), and Donna Jo Garrison (Howard, Jr.); and her cherished grandchildren; Katie Wycoff, Shelby Wycoff (Johnny), Jennifer Smith (Tony), Matthew Garrison, great grandchildren; Jaydon Cobb, Landon Cobb, Kyla Turner, Esleigh Wolfe, Emberlee Wolfe, Johanna Smith, Carson Smith, Archer Garrison, and Lili Garrison; Great great grandchildren Zaidyn Cobb and Raelyn Cobb. She is also survived by her sisters; Bonnie Scisim (Bill) and Frances Thompson.

In addition to her parents and husband; she was preceded in death by her siblings; Marie Jones, Dean Wells, Gladys Howell, Jeanette Howell, Walter Carroll, Jr., and Jerry Ann Gillard
