Lynn Wade

Francis Lynn Wade, 73, of Inman, SC passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at Spartanburg Medical Center.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Monday, November 21, 2022, at Bratton Funeral Home, 1455 Filbert Hwy York, SC 29745. The funeral will begin at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Jim Hooper officiating.  Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Lynn was born on September 14,1949, in Union, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Frank Wade and Doris Smith Wade. He retired from the Milliken Co. in Spartanburg after 40+ years as a traffic manager. He was a graduate of the University of South Carolina.

He is survived by his wife Louise Benfield Wade, his son Scott Gibson, his daughters, Christy Roberts (Johnny), and Amanda Kimble (Jason); his grandchildren, Josh, Matthew, Maranda, Katlin, Brooke, Taylor, Maygan, and Tristan; his great-grandchildren McKenleigh, Ayden, Harper, Brayleigh, Hazley and Kyzer. In addition to his parents, Lynn was also preceded in death by his sister, Jean Wade.
