Linda (Martin) Hoover

Mrs. Linda Martin Brooks Parker Hoover, age 87, of York, SC passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Levine and Dickson Hospice House at Southminster.

Linda was born on June 8, 1937 in Gastonia, NC. She was the daughter of the late Ed Martin and Nellie Brandon Martin. She is survived by her husband, Richard Hoover; her children, Dean Brooks (Penny), Mark Brooks (Terri), and Janice Johnson; her caretaker/granddaughter, Candice “Brooke” Connette; 11 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Also surviving are her sister, Joyce Wichmann (Karl) and daughter-in-law, Kari Brooks. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her previous husbands, Wayne “Toot” Brooks and James Parker, and her son, Tommy Brooks.
