Leo Harris

Mr. Edgar Leo Harris, age 79, of Sharon, SC, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, April 27, 2026.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Bratton Funeral Home, 1455 Filbert Hwy, York, SC 29745. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jeff Gilfillan officiating. Burial will follow at Bullock Creek Presbyterian Church in Sharon, SC, with full military honors rendered by the VFW Post 12136 Honor Guard.

Leo was born on August 12, 1946, in Sharon, SC. He was the son of the late Robert Harris and Blanche Bridges Harris. Leo retired from W.M. Ramsey Logging in Sharon, SC, and was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was truly a “Jack of all Trades,” sharing his many talents generously with family and friends. Leo enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he was a devoted fan of the South Carolina Gamecocks, especially their Women’s Basketball team.

Leo is survived by his loving wife, Debora Campbell; his daughter, Lisa Norman (Joey Queen); his sister, Joan Hager; and his brother, Jerry Harris.

In addition to his parents, Leo was preceded in death by his daughter, Miranda Campbell; his siblings: John Harris, Steve Harris, Robert Harris, Perry Harris, Grace Garrison, Margaret Stewart, Martha Woods, and Kay Roof.
