Lee Good

Mr. Gary “Lee” Good, Jr. age 82, of York, SC passed away on Sunday, December 3rd, 2023.

The funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, December 9th, 2023 at Sharon Baptist Church, 3850 York St. Sharon, SC, with Reverend David Sealy and Pastor John Pea officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. After the committal, the family will receive friends in the church Family Life Center.

Lee was born on September 5th, 1941 in York County. He was the son of the late Gary Lee Good, Sr. and Jennie Lynn Bankhead Good and the widower of Paula Summerlin Good. Lee was the owner of Good’s Air Conditioning and Heating serving throughout York County, and was the owner of Comer Oil Company. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and watching golf and NASCAR. A proud achievement of his was being on the Board of Directors of the Sands Ocean Club but his proudest achievement was his family. His family meant everything to him.

Lee is survived by his son, Gary Good and his wife, Terri; his grandsons, Gary Good, Jr. and Jake Good; his very special lady friend, Susie Quick; and his sisters-in-law, Elsie Good and Susan Jones (Eddie). In addition to his parents and wife, Lee was preceded in death by his brother, Edward “Lynn” Good.
