Kimberly (Lingerfelt) Phillips

Mrs. Kimberly “Kim” Lingerfelt Phillips, age 58, of McConnells, SC, passed away peacefully with her husband Dave and sister Merie Leslie by her side on Monday, June 16, 2025, at Hospice and Community Care (Wayne T. Patrick).

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Bratton Funeral Home, 1455 Filbert Hwy, York, SC 29745. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Monica Tilley officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Grove Church of God Cemetery in Hickory Grove, SC.

Kim was born on October 11, 1966, in Kings Mountain, NC. She was the daughter of the late Lester Lonnie Lingerfelt and JoAnn Cartee Lingerfelt. Kim was self-employed as a t-shirt designer; embroidery was her specialty. She loved spending time with her pets and cherished being with her family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Samuel “Dave” Phillips; her brother, Lonnie Lingerfelt; and her sister, Merie Leslie Bott; her nephew, Captain Michael Lazar, USMC whom she helped raise; her brother-in-law, Daniel Phillips (Sandra); and her sisters-in-law, Anita Jones (Teddy), Barbara Goodin.

In addition to her parents, Kim was preceded in death by her sister, Wanda Phillips.
