Mr. Kenneth Thor Harris, lovingly known as “Chunk,” passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 1, 2025, at Bullock Creek Presbyterian Church, 7386 Lockhart Hwy, Sharon, SC 29742. Born on December 9, 2006, in York County, Kenneth was the beloved son of Jerry "JJ" D. Harris II and Kera Lewis Harris. He was a proud graduate of York Comprehensive High School and worked at the local Farmers Service Center. Kenneth had a deep love for the outdoors—he was an avid hunter and fisherman who found peace in nature.
Known for his loyalty and generous spirit, Kenneth was a true friend to many. Whether behind the wheel of his truck or out on the boat, he was rarely without his two devoted companions, Boulder and Bonnie, who were always by his side.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth is survived by his brothers, AJ Harris and Levi Harris; his grandparents, Jerry D. Harris Sr., Amy P. Harris, Mark T. Lewis, and Elisama “Lisa” Lewis; and his great-grandmother, Irene Lewis. He is also survived by his aunts, Kay Harris (Danny) and Echo Bennefield (Aaron); his uncle, Chris Harris (Jennifer); and his cousins, Tuesday Lewis-Phillips, Bella Lewis-Phillips, Sarah Kay Dickerson, and Jenna Harris.
Preceded Kenneth in death are his uncles, Heath D. Lewis and Perry Harris.
