Kelly Lee Duncan

Mr. Kelly Lee Duncan, age 63, of York, SC, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC.

Kelly was born on August 21, 1963, in Charlotte, NC. He was the son of the late Wilmer E. Duncan and Dora Lee Dagenhart Duncan. Kelly was a dedicated and hardworking mechanic who had a genuine passion for working on cars. He could often be found with his hands under the hood, doing what he enjoyed most. His knowledge of automobiles and willingness to help others made working on cars an important part of his life. He was not only good with cars but could be found under a tractor trailer as an experienced diesel mechanic. He was one of the best.

Kelly is survived by his son, Hunter Duncan; his sister, Suzanne Martin (Chip); his brothers, Bob Duncan (Nancy) and Maurice Duncan (Teresa); and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles who will cherish the memories they shared with him.

In addition to his parents, Kelly was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Duncan.

A celebration of Kelly’s life will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at the Rock Hill Moose Lodge; 1025 Ebinport Rd., Rock Hill, SC 29732 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
