Kathryn (Cranford) Latham

Kathryn Cranford Latham 89, of Sharon, SC passed away Thursday November 7, 2024 at her home.

 A graveside service will be at 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at Shady Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, 2845 Hwy 97, Sharon, SC. The family will receive friends at the graveside following the service.

Kathryn was a daughter of the late Coleman P. Cranford and Kate Beard Cranford, and the widow of Samuel Jackson Latham Jr. She was a member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her sons Samuel J. Latham III (Beth), Thomas F. Latham and Gene W. Latham (Cindy) along with her grandchildren; Patrick Latham, Stephanie L. Ashmore (Jeremy), Stacey L. Vankerschaever (Paul), Sarah L. Lister (Jeremy) and Ian T. Latham and her Great grandchildren; Nathaniel Latham, Blakely Ashmore and Allison Ashmore.

In addition to her parents and husband Kathryn was preceded in death by her siblings, Walter C. Cranford and Marguerite C. Estes.

The family extends their appreciation to the Shady Grove family for loving Kathryn so well. They also send their gratitude for the kind and gentle care provided by Providence Hospice.
