Katherine (Patterson) Jackson

Mrs. Katherine Patterson Jackson, 85 of York passed away surrounded by her family on March 16, 2025 at her home.

A funeral service will be held at  2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Ramah Presbyterian Church with Rev./Dr. Sam Murphy officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Katherine was born January 26, 1940 in Cleveland County, N.C.  She was the daughter of the late Wister Patterson and Selma Lemmons Patterson and the widow of Harold Gene Jackson. She retired as the nursing home administrator at White Oak Manor, York, SC and was a life long member of Ramah Presbyterian Church.

Katherine is survived by her daughters, Kathy Marie Jackson (Mandy) and Cynthia Jackson Wyatt (Chris), sister, Nancy Wyatt Turner (Charles), brother Clyde Patterson (Jackie) and grandson, Dylan Christopher Wyatt and her cat “Mama Cat”.

In addition to her parents, and husband she is preceded in death by her sister Agnes Braziel, and brothers Carl “Bill” Patterson, David Patterson, and Roy Patterson.
