Karen (Dean) Schronce

Mrs. Karen Ann Dean Schronce, 57, of Clover, SC, passed away at home on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.

A celebration of life service will be held for Karen at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Bethel Baptist Church (834 West Old Limestone Rd., York, SC 29745), with Pastor William Lingerfelt officiating. The family has requested that those in attendance (in honor of Karen) please wear Peacock colors (teal, blue, purple) if possible. Following the service, the family will receive friends in the Church Fellowship Hall. Karen will be laid to rest the following day at Rice Cemetery in Robbinsville, NC.

Born on August 27, 1967, in Andrews, NC, Karen was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her devoted husband, James “Bo” Daw Schronce; her children, Amber Schronce and Adam Schronce; her grandson, Hayden Wommer; and her parents, Melvin “Jr” Dean and Orpha Jane Rogers Dean.
