Karen (Campbell) Montgomery

Karen Campbell Montgomery, 70, passed away on April 1st, 2025, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC. She was born on November 26th, 1954, in Chester, SC to the late Charlie Gaston Campbell and Lucy Potts Campbell, she was the widow of Leroy Lynn Montgomery. 

Visitation will be held at Bratton Funeral Home, 1455 Filbert Hwy. York, SC, Sunday April 6th, 2025, from 2-3 pm followed by the service at 3 pm officiated by Reverend Eddie Ramsey. The burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Cemetery St. York, SC

She graduated from Lewisville High School and was a member of the American Legion Post 34 Auxiliary, in Rock Hill, SC.  She loved her family first and foremost.     

She is survived by her children, Troy (Kristen) Campbell, Anthony (Patrick) Montgomery, Charley (Wes) Deas, Robert Montgomery, and Joseph Montgomery as well as her grandchildren, Tyler, Travis, Hailey, Caroline, Ryan, Tanner, Gavin, and Lily and her great grandchildren, Lilly and Faith;  Along with her siblings Jean Bedenbaugh, Charles Campbell, Anne Plyler (Charles), Elaine Hamby-Wilson (Don), David Campbell (Becky),Brian Campbell, Vicky Cudd (Steve) and Mattie Burton.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her siblings, Laura Ellen Anders, Libby Houston, and Johnny Jackson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to American Legion Post 34 Auxiliary, 524 Heckle Boulevard, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
