Kara Lee (Clauss) Cartee

Kara Lee Clauss Cartee, 37, of Chester, SC passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021.

A graveside service will be held at 3 PM on Friday, December 31, 2021 at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York, SC. The family will receive friends in the cemetery following the service.

Kara was born on October 20, 1984 in Muncy, PA. She was the daughter of Jodi Wilson Jeffries and the late William Clyde Clauss. In addition to her mother, Kara is survived by her husband, Gene “Dozer” Cartee, sister, Kimberly Jo Clauss, step-son Nikki Cartee, step-daughter Kira Cartee, step-grandchildren: Jack Cartee, Jaden Moses, Liam Cartee, and Annie Cartee; step father, Jeffrey Jeffries, and nephew Joseph W. Burns.

Kara was preceded in death by her father, William Clauss, grandparents, Norma Lee Wilson, Joseph W. Wilson, Sr., and step-granddaughter, Candice Vess.
